Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family, aged 76 years, of Hillside Cottage, Springfield Hill, Pentre Halkyn.

Beloved husband of Rita and a loving dad, father-in-law, grandad, brother and uncle.

Funeral Service will be held at Flintshire Memorial Park & Crematorium, Northop, on Thursday, 8th January 2026 at 2:00pm.

Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations in memory of George will be gratefully received towards the Palliative Care Team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.

I attended his funeral service today and was moved by the turn out of all those who knew George and his family. A wonderful tribute to a wonderful man who I worked alongside between 1988-1996. Such a gentleman I have been blessed to have known him. My thought and condolences go to Rita and her lovely family. Dave Johnson
